Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
JacSal Services ("JacSal Services," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through jacsalservices.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have — including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").
Notice at collection
When you use our Site or submit one of our forms, we collect the categories of personal information described below. We collect this information to respond to your inquiry, provide and improve our services, and operate and secure the Site. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. For more detail, keep reading.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide directly and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following CCPA categories of personal information:
| Category (CCPA) | Examples | Collected? |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, phone number, company name, IP address | Yes |
| Commercial / professional information | Details you share about your business, team size, goals, and the data you want to protect (via our contact and intake forms) | Yes |
| Internet or network activity | Server logs, approximate location derived from IP, request and security data processed by our hosting provider | Yes (limited) |
| Sensitive personal information | Government IDs, financial account numbers, health data, precise geolocation, racial/ethnic or similar data | No — we do not request it |
| Biometric, geolocation (precise), audio/visual, education, inferences/profiling | — | No |
Sources. We collect this information directly from you when you fill out a form, email us, or otherwise contact us, and automatically from your device and browser when you visit the Site (via our hosting and security provider).
Please do not submit anyone else's confidential or sensitive personal information through our Site. Use the forms only to describe your needs at a general level.
How we use information
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide the services you request;
- To prepare proposals and communicate with you about your engagement;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CCPA, and we do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to performing services for us. These include:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security;
- Resend — delivery of form submissions to our inbox by email;
- Email and productivity providers — to receive and respond to your messages.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of JacSal Services, our clients, or others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing.
We do not sell or share your personal information
We have not sold and do not sell personal information, and we have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. Because we do not sell or share, we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism — there is nothing to opt out of. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Cookies & tracking
We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. The Site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. We do not currently use any non-essential cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is presented.
The Site loads typography from Google Fonts (your browser requests the fonts from Google, so your IP address is processed by Google to deliver them) and serves our logo image through Cloudflare Images. Aside from these, no third-party content is embedded for tracking purposes. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes limited technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver and secure the Site.
Because we honor browser privacy preferences and do not sell or share data, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) consistently with our no-sale, no-share practices.
Retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it. Inquiry and intake details are generally retained for the duration of our discussions and a reasonable period afterward.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
- Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information or use it for purposes that would trigger this right.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
"Shine the Light." California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83) lets California residents request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
How to exercise your rights
To submit a request to know, delete, or correct, email us at jacob@jacsalservices.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to verify your identity and locate your data.
- Verification. To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity — typically by confirming details associated with your request (such as the email address you used to contact us) — before acting on it.
- Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
- Timing. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond to verifiable requests within 45 calendar days, extendable by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
- Appeals. If we deny your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.
Other states, children & changes
Other U.S. states. If you reside in a state with its own consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision. To exercise any such right, contact us using the details below and identify your state of residence.
Children's privacy. The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links. The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
